Type of plane used

The passenger was traveling from Adelaide to Melbourne last week and was less than impressed with dinner that were served during the 110 minutes flight.

The flight approached at 7pm and was scheduled to get to Melbourne at 8.50 pm
Sharing a photo of the disappointing food in Reddit, the passenger said: “This is what catches you $ 800”.
To the passenger he received a roll of bread with cultured butter Pepe Saya, a chicken and mushroom cake, chutney and soft peas.
Upon leaving the selection, the passenger said that the bread roll was ‘non -edible’, the peas were ‘quite dry’ and described the decision to serve the cake with Chutney ‘Weird’.
The passenger said the butter was “the best in the tray.”

Despite depending largely on social media platforms such as YouTube for travel planning (77%), only 35%of Hong Kong travelers use security or alert applications, the APAC average 38%, illuminating a gap between the inspiration of the trip and risk management.
The preference for short -distance trips remains strong, with 50% of respondents who favor intra Asia destinations.
Travelers are making shorter trips of 5 to 8 days, spending an average of $ 1,780, slightly more than colleagues in neighboring markets.
These trends point to spontaneous trips oriented to the family, but also underline the need for reliable insurance coverage, especially since 46% are concerned about flight delays and 40% about luggage problems.
The Allianz Partners 2025 travel index surveyed 500 consumers in Hong Kong between February 10 and 16, 2025, and is part of a broader study in other Asia-Pacific markets, including Australia, New Zealand, Continental China, India and Japan.
