American Airlines first class and business class will now have an even more initial advantage when addressing. And, as of May, passengers on certain flights may need to get to the airport a little before before.
In recent months, Fort Worth headquarters, based in Texas, announced a handful of changes in its approach process aimed at accelerating things and rationalizing the previous process.

The changes include adjusting the boarding order of the airline and implementing the previous boarding start schedules for flights operated by some of its largest aircraft. In addition, the carrier has implemented his new technology more, which will make a sound of “beep” and bar travelers approach out of turn.
American Airlines boarding groups
According to the shipping procedures reviewed, American Airlines passengers with a first or business class ticket will now be invited to prefer before the formal group boarding school.
This privilege will also remain in place for the flyers that maintain the key designation of concierge only by invitation of the carrier. Travelers who need a little more time to address, including families with children under 2 years, will also be allowed on board early.
From there, things look quite similar to what the airline offered previously. Priority Group Access is awarded to the members of the State of American Airlines Aadvantage and Oneworld Alliance Elite, as well as travelers with certain American Airlines credit cards collected.
This is how the new American Airlines boarding groups will shake:

The greatest change that American made was to change to the passengers of the premium cabin to the preparation of its previous shipment slot of Group 1, where they used to address together with the executive members of Platinum of first level Aadvantage.

Group 1, despite its priority designation, can be a very full shipping group. This is particularly true in the main American centers such as Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) and Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT), where there are a large number of elite status customers.
The carrier expects updated shipping procedures to lead to a “better rhythm shipping process” when combined with a large number of other changes related to the approach that also began on May 1.

A large number of other changes related to approach
In February, the carrier announced that it would increase the boarding times for flights in certain narrow body aircraft. As of May 1, the approach begins 35 minutes before the exit for operated flights with an Airbus A319 or A320 plane. Flights with a larger Boeing 737 or A321 will see the shipping start 40 minutes before takeoff.
The carrier already addresses the flights in his wide Boeing 777 and 787 aircraft even before, 50 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
New software prohibits line cutters
The past fall, American also launched a new software aimed at preventing passengers from addressing before the door agent calls their group. Let an audible “beep” that asks the door agent asks the client to be aside and wait for his designated shipping group.
This program is now widely available in the airports of which the American flies recently reported the carrier. Now it is in its place to cover about 90% of its clients on a given day.
Early feedback, said the airline, has been “overwhelmingly positive.”
