This line just made luxury cruises more affordable for solo travelers – The Points Guy

Solo travelers with a inclination for luxury, listen. You will not have to pay double in this line of cruise ships to enjoy a luxury river sailing on your own.

Riverside Luxury Cruises renounces the unique supplement in selected suites throughout its fleet.

It is the solution of the line to a common problem: solo travelers often have a price of the European river cruises due to the strong rates of “individual supplement” on cruises that sail only in a cabin destined for two passengers.

“We recognize that solo trips is an important and growing trend, and we in Riverside are committed to creating a cozy and comfortable atmosphere for all our guests,” said Jennifer Halboth, CEO of Riverside Collection Collection Americas. “When giving up the unique supplement in selected suites throughout our fleet, our goal is to make the river cruise more accessible to solo travelers, including women who seek to explore Europe independently.”

The exemption of individual supplements of Riverside Luxury Cruises is applied to selected suites in the Mozart of 162 Riverside passengers and the Ravussy and the Ravel next to the 110 passenger Riverside river. The three ships offer suite accommodations that have King-Size beds, floor by roof and luxury furniture windows.

Suites available for solo cruises include the 219 square feet Harmony suite in Riverside Mozart. The fixed window room has a sofa, espresso coffee coffee maker, ALBORNOCES AND SHOES, and a rain shower with glass. Single travelers can also reserve the 183 square feet melody suite in Riverside Debussy and Riverside Ravel. The suite has a panoramic balcony window, which goes down when pressing a button and offers the same comforts as the harmony suite.
