In this year’s report, Expedia challenges the common mistakes of travel with an analysis of billions of data points and the most extensive air ticket database in the world, through collaboration with Airlines Reporting Corporation (Arc ) and (OAG).

“The day of the week I travel does not affect the cost.”
Expedia has “broken” this myth when confirming on Fridays and Saturdays are the cheapest days to leave.
They said: “It is not only when you reserve, it is when you fly. International travelers who leave on Friday can save up to 14%.
“On the domestic front, Saturday is the cheapest day to fly: transvestins can save up to 18% compared to flying on a Monday, which is the most expensive day to travel.”

Discrediting this myth of its report, Expedia has discovered that the reservation on a Sunday can “keep more in your wallet.”

“Reserve on the right day can mark a world of difference. Travelers who reserve Sundays can save up to 21% on national flights compared to Monday, and up to 22% on international flights compared to Friday, ”explains the travel expert.
