Air India to resume flights to Tel Aviv after 5-month hiatus – CNBC TV18

Five months after suspending flights to Israel due to the Gaza War, the Air India Group owned by Tata has announced the resumption of services without stopping between Delhi and Tel Aviv.

The airline plans to restart flights since March 2, 2025.

“Air India will operate Tel Aviv five times a week, using its Dreamliner Boeing 787-8 aircraft, which offers 18 flat beds in executive class and 238 spacious and padded seats in the economic class,” said the airline.

The airline had suspended services to Israel on August 8, 2024, due to geopolitical tensions in the region.

“In view of the current situation in the Middle East, we have suspended the programmed operation of our flights to and from Tel Aviv with immediate effect, until August 8, 2024. We are continuously monitoring the situation and we are extending support to our Passengers with confirmed reserves to travel to and from Tel Aviv during this period, with a unique exemption in reprogramming and cancellation charges.
