In April, I treated my toy caniche, Hershey, even luxurious vacations in Japan. We travel there together in a private jet.
It was the second time we traveled to Japan together in four months. The first flight, from our Base of Operations in Hong Kong, was at a commercial airline and cost me $ 10,100. The second trip came with a significantly higher price of $ 38,000. Despite the strong expenses, I do not regret waste my furry partner.
Years of savings while working full time in an investment bank they have given me the ability to comfortably spend both on vacation. I also obtain additional income with my Instagram of pet influence, where they occasionally pay me for associations and brand collaborations.

I wanted to give Hershey a better life
In 2021, I met a Facebook post on a toy poodle that had been subjected to abusive breeders and needed a new home. I wanted me to have a better life, so I started an adoption of judgment. After a week, we made it official, marking the beginning of Hershey’s trip of a careless past to a life full of love and adventure.
At that time, Hershey was two and a half years old, and I already had two other dogs: Milo, a 9 -year -old street dog, and Malibu, a 1 year old.
I am 29 years old and I have been dreaming of traveling abroad with my dogs for years. I decided that this was the year to do it.
My family and I chose Hershey, among my dog trio, due to their exceptional temperament. He had full confidence that she would deal with plane walks and adapt to the new environment.
The planning of these trips took approximately one year, from ensuring a reliable pet travel agent and administering the import-export paperwork to multiple veterinary checkups and additional vaccines to meet the strict medical standards of Japan for pets. Ensure flights with seats and friendly accommodation with stress added. But everything was worth it at the end.

I chose Japan for its friendly pet culture. Finding accommodation, gastronomic options and dog open parks was easy. They even allow pets in public transport if they are in a carrier.
And as a big fan of Japanese pet products, fate was an ideal adjustment.
Hershey’s first trip abroad was in January 2024.
Hershey enjoyed an experience of Teppanyaki friendly with dogs with friends on the first trip to Japan. Gladys Tsoi
Our first trip to Japan included two other Poodle friends, while our second trip in April 2024 was a family issue with my parents and my brother.
The first was an epic road trip that covered more than 1,200 miles, covering seven prefectures and including stops in Tokyo, Mount Fuji, Hakuba, Osaka, Kyoto, Nara and Izu.
We fly to Tokyo in Korean Air, in Traffic in Seoul, and return through the load of Japan Airlines. This implied many flight procedures, including obtaining a pet seat and the handling of Hershey’s documents and checks.
We take advantage of the friendly offers for the city’s pets during our stay in Tokyo. We stayed in Inumo Shibakoen Hotel, which had services such as capsules machines with pet supplements, free -professional pet photo shoot sessions, free pet preparation and a gourmet pet dining menu of pets. We explore iconic reference points such as Tokyo Tower and Shibuya Crossing.
There were many friendly petty restaurants, including one with tasted meals Teppanyaki, where we all saw the meat prepared on the grill.

We went to Glamping under Mount Fuji, and Hershey had his first snow experience in Hakuba. In Kyoto, we immortalize our trip with a traditional photo shoot, where Hershey and I wear matching kimonos. In Nara, Hershey mixed with friendly Japanese deer. In Osaka, we went into friendly stores with pets, and in Izu, we went to walk on Mount Omuro.
For the second trip, we opted for a private plane in both directions.

Our second trip, which took place in April, lasted 8 days and covered 10 prefectures. We focus on Kyushu, an island in southwest Japan.
Our road trip took us through Fukuoka, Oita, Yufuin, Kumamoto, Beppu, Nagasaki, Yanagawa, Sasebo and Itoshima. Our main objective was to witness the spring flower season of Japan. Opting a private jet simplified this trip compared to our first trip, with our pet travel agent handling all flight arrangements without problems. Hershey and I took the private jet, while the rest of the family flew separately.
We enjoy the charm of the Fukuoka field. A local photographer captured family moments in the middle of cherry trees, and Hershey explored pets of pets with pets.

In Oita and Yufuin, the Glamping del Monte Aso provided a quiet retreat, while Hershey savored local attractions such as Yufuin Floral Village and the Yanagawa rivers. Sasebo offered a European atmosphere with Tulipán fields, while in Kumamoto we went to collect strawberries and visited the zoo.

In Kumamoto, we stayed in a private shelter directed by a local family. I was equipped with a doggy gym, professional dog cleaning room, dog park and private onsen.
We enjoy Beppu’s natural hot springs the next day and stay at the Nagasaki Hotel. The hotel had a friendly dining room menu with three -plates pets.
Next time, we will probably bring another puppy.

Both trips arrived with great price labels, especially the second round when I opted for a private jet. The cost of hotels added around $ 5,000. In retrospect, each penny was well spent.
Some may consider my excessive waste, but witnessing the pure joy in Hershey’s face is what gives meaning to my life and purpose.
For our next trip, I am contemplating to bring one of my largest canine companions, Milo or Malibu, for the trip.
